Problem

NBI Innovation had a genuine scientific breakthrough, a plant-based bioplastic, and a pitch that lost every room. The real problem wasn't complexity: the pitch was organized in the order the technology was discovered, a scientist's logic, rather than the order an investor evaluates a bet.

Strategy

A Gulf family office had spent heavily on top-tier strategy consulting and couldn't act on any of it. The analysis was sound but built in consultant architecture, which takes the same expertise to execute as it took to produce, and a principal with a small team isn't an operating company.

Work

Restructured the pitch with the leadership team section by section, cutting seventy pages to seven. Pressure-tested the new architecture against real investor conversations and refined it until comprehension came in minutes.

Outcome

Investor comprehension fell from ninety minutes to under ten. The company now carries the pitch itself, and the work opened a proof-of-concept engagement with a global tire manufacturer. Remained an equity advisor.
